Like pantographs, these patterns are often quilted across the entire quilt, edge-to-edge. Freehand patterns, though, are quilted from the front side of the long arm. They can be customized for particular sections of the quilt, if desired, allowing for custom borders. The patterns shown below are just a sampling of what is possible. The selected design will complement the quilt top. Prices given should be multiplied by the area of the quilt in square inches to determine a quilting cost.
