Narrow Border…Big Design!  is all about teaching quilters how to get the most bang out of the least real estate. Nearly every quilt has some form of border or sashing. This book teaches over 100 designs that are ideally suited for narrow borders 1-4″ wide. Designs include freehand and template-based patterns, feathered designs and my unique Mix-n-Match shape gallery of dozens of cookie-cutter designs. There are over 75 color photographs and more than twice as many illustrations. This book presents borders for traditional quilts as well as modern. There are designs for newer quilters and seasoned professionals. How to mark to facilitate ease of quilting is addressed for each border design.
