Made by Erin Zehm. This custom quilt had quilting designed to avoid ditch stitching, as most seams were pressed open. It is a perfect example showing that quilting on a pieced quilt w/o SID can still be gorgeous. It uses a single Hobbs 80/20 batt and a couple shades of YLI polished poly thread. The focal point of the quilt is the lovely center medallion star. It is framed with an arabesque-style arch, and filled with cross-hatching, scrolls and a filler.
