Judy Niemeyer’s Feathered Star, 60″x60″
It is custom quilted for show with Tuscany wool over Hobbs 80/20. Glide thread in several colors was used. The fills are dense to enhance the many circles added in the quilting for visual interest. There are also feathers and line-work. This represents 18-20 hours of quilting time. It is a show quilt, and has won a 1st place and Best Machine quilting award to date.
